• The Bellora building is perfectly situated. It's far enough from
the restaurants and bars to avoid nuisance and noise on the street, but
close enough that Bellora residents can easily walk to enjoy the
nightlife.
• Our two favorite bars are a
4-minute walk away on First Avenue. 'Blackbottle' for fancier
tapas-style dining, wine, and cocktails, and 'Some Random Bar' directly
next door for beers, football, and friendly staff who take the time to
know you.
• The walk to Pike Place Market
takes 15 minutes and is completely flat. You can saunter down to the
waterfront and walk along the ocean all the way to the Market for a
scenic and relaxing jaunt.
• The Seattle Art
Museum's Sculpture Park is kitty-corner from the Bellora. It features an
outdoor amphitheater with free events, unique art installations, and
walking trails. Perfect for getting some fresh air or walking your dog.
•
Zulilly is directly across from the Bellora, our unit (301) looks
across to it– so when you are home from work in the evening the building
is empty. As in, you are not looking into other people's apartments
while you are settling down in your own living room, and no one is
looking into yours.
• The best cheap-night pizza 'Romio's' is just around the corner, perfect for easy take-out nights.
•
There is a corner store (New Town Market) across from the Bellora (on
the corner of Clay Street and Western Avenue) for those times when you
forgot to buy milk.
• There are 7+
supermarkets nearby, including Safeway, QFC, The Metropolitan Market,
and Wholefoods. Costco is easily reached by car.
•
A 10-minute walk will have you at the base of the Space Needle. Ideal
for catching the monorail into downtown or entertaining your out-of-town
friends.
• Seattle's waterfront,
including Myrtle Edwards Park, is at your doorstep. Ideal for those who
embrace the Pacific Northwest lifestyle of enjoying the outdoors.

•
Fun and eclectic shopping at places such as 'The World Market' is only
10 minutes away by foot, or minutes away by car. Free parking is
available under 'The World Market', park and enjoy Pike Place!
•
Abundant ride-share services such as 'Zip-Car' have multiple vehicles
(small medium and large) available within the Olympus Parking Garage on
Clay street and in parking lots just one and two blocks away. When we
lived here, we used ZipCar as our mode of transport and always had
vehicles available.
• Community garden just a block away
•
The gym within the Bellora is one of the few building gyms to have a
squat rack and other free weights. If you are someone who values
weightlifting, this is a defining feature. We've actually had past
tenants bring up how much they miss this after they move out.
